It's the level of ur weapon, lvl 1 is basic,lvl 3 is advanced, lvl 5 prototype

U could also use advanced, that's good if u want a balance of being cheap and good quality, instead of almost 50k for one proto u can get one advanced for 10k

It means the weapon is prototype, when u get to level five of ur gun upgrading u can get the best form of it, and that's prototype
